Mickael Dean Bruce, 62, of Pittsburg, died Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at his residence.
He was born September 9, 1955, at Stuttgart, Germany, to John Henry and Myrtle (Daniels) Bruce. He spent 8½ years in the military, including two years with the Oklahoma Army National Guard, four years of active duty in the Air Force and several more years with the Air Force National Guard in Wichita.
On Sept 2, 1983, he married Polly Taylor. She survives of the home. Mickael worked for Pitt Plastics and as a free-lance artist. Additional survivors include sons, Jon Bruce of Pittsburg, and Sean Bruce of Lamar, MO; one brother, Richard Bruce of York, PA, and one sister, Patt Gray of Georgia. He was preceded by his parents.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Brenner Mortuary Chapel with Father Thomas Stroot officiating. Burial will be held at Highland Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be given to St Jude’s Hospital. These may be left at or mailed to Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762.
