Dale Carrier, 63, Carthage, MO passed away Sunday evening, December 17, 2017 at his home. Herman Dale Carrier was born October 14, 1954 in Marshfield, MO to Herman Ray Carrier and Ruth Louise (Rost) Carrier Detherow. He was a graduate of Marshfield High School, Class of 1972, where he served as president of the FFA. Herman earned his B.S. Degree in Animal Husbandry from the University of Missouri and was a member of the Alpha Gama Sigma Fraternity. He owned and operated Carrier Lawn Care for 35 years and was a member of the Carthage Nazarene Church.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth Louise; his wife, Patricia Carrier, Carthage, MO; two daughters, Victoria Winn, Carthage, MO, Jessica Carrier, Hurst, TX; three sons, Joshua Carrier (wife Amy), Carl Junction, MO, Jonathan Carrier (wife Ana), Hurst, TX, Benjamin Carrier (fiancé Tiffany), Carthage, MO; three sisters, Judy Rouse (husband Robert), Houston, MO, Ruth Coffey (husband Paul), Bolivar, MO, Karla Murgel (husband Kevin), Elkland, MO; nine grandchildren, Ariel, Kolby, Gavyn, Dawson, Sierra, Grace, Sophia, Samuel, Elisa; and two great-grandchildren, Trevor and Julian.
He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Ray Carrier.
Visitation will be held 6-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Knell Mortuary. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Carthage Nazarene Church, 2000 Grand Ave, Carthage, MO. Rev. Dustin Ledford will officiate. Cremation will take place after the service and inurnment at Fullerton Cemetery will be at a later date. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Alpha Gama Sigma Fraternity in care of Knell Mortuary, 308 W. Chestnut Street, Carthage, MO 64836.
