Michael N. Myers, age 60, of Sarcoxie, Missouri went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. after a lengthy illness.
Michael was born January 16, 1957 in Pittsburg, Kansas, son of Harold and Barbara (Lee) Myers. He moved with his family to Colorado where he resided for ten years and moved to Missouri in 1969. He was a 1976 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. He served in the Air Force for three years. Upon discharge from the Air Force he moved back to Missouri and worked in heavy construction until his health failed and spent the last several years helping his father with the farm.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Michael is survived by his parents; his siblings, Barbara Kelly and husband, Robert, of Oakley, Kansas and Lee Myers and wife, Rebecca, of Springfield, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Britni Lyon and husband, Joe, Steven Kelly, Brandi Hulon and husband, Ian, Carleigh Kelly and Jennifer Myers; great nephews, Spencer and Heath Lyon; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted by the family at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Colley Cemetery with Pastor Robert Kelly officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, Missouri.
