(From Resthaven Memorial Park)JOHN BENTON "BEN" PRICE John Benton "Ben" Price was born in Jasper, Mo., on April 26, 1954, to John and Dorothy Jeanne (Brown) Price. He passed from this life on June 15, 2024, in Shawnee, Okla., at the age of 70.
Ben retired as an executive sports shoe buyer for Foot Locker. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and working with his father in their shoe ministry. He was an accomplished musician who attended Berklee College on a guitar scholarship.
Ben was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Price, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survivors include his Aunt Martha and her husband Royce Stout, along with many cousins and a host of good friends. A graveside memorial will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, 11 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park, 16006 S. Rock Creek Rd., Shawnee, OK 74801.
The family asks that memorials be made in Ben's name to Rock Creek Baptist Church Shoe Ministry, 44900 Hardesty Road, Shawnee, OK 74801.
