(From Clark Funeral Home)Shawn Waylon Truelove was born on April 29, 1971, in Wichita, Kansas and entered into rest on July 20, 2024, at this home in Neosho, at the age of 52.
Shawn graduated from Commerce High School in Commerce, Oklahoma. He entered in the U.S. Navy in July 1989 and was honorable discharged on Jan. 6, 1982, after serving in Desert Storm. He was a self-employed DJ and electrician. He enjoyed working on computers, playing computer games, watching movies and being with his customers and employers.
Shawn and Margaret (Cooper) were married on July 29, 2000, in Seneca, Missouri and she survives.
Additional survivors include three sons, Zachariah Truelove of the home, Kristopher Davis of Springfield, Missouri and Zachary Davis of Carl Junction, Missouri; two daughters, Samantha Reeves of Carterville, Missouri and Sarah Thomas of Carthage; four additional daughters; eleven grandchildren, Jaymes, Olivia, Adilline, Anolla, Carletta, Aiden, Elijah, Gabriel, Noah, McKenna and Madelyn; his mother, Billie Truelove of Commerce, Oklahoma and siblings, Jerry Truelove, Bobby Truelove, Darla, Toni Jo and Marvin Frost.
He is preceded in death by his father and a sister, Kim.
A remembrance service is scheduled for 8:00 pm, Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Redings Mill Inn and a Celebration of Life and Benefit is scheduled for Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Rumors Cocktail Lounge from open to close.
