(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Linda Kathryn (Lynn) Williams, 74, of Wentworth, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in the comfort of her home after a long battle with breast cancer.
Lynn was born on March 14, 1950, in Thayer, Missouri to the late Cecil and Imogene Stephens.
She was a graduate of Alton High School in Alton, Missouri. Lynn held various jobs throughout her life, but her greatest career was that of a homemaker. She was fiercely devoted to her family with a love that never wavered. She loved the outdoors and could often be found working alongside her husband and son on a tractor in the hayfields. The country life was her happy place. She loved dogs and for the last 20 plus years operated a small kennel. The dogs were her passion, and she was a very successful breeder of dogs that are now living all across the country. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Imogene Stephens, husband, Fred Williams, and brother Jerry Stephens.

Lynn is survived by her children, Matt Williams and his wife, Jessie, of Sarcoxie and Julie Johnson and husband, Kenny, of Douglas, Wyoming; siblings; Mary Williams and husband, Jim, of West Plains, Missouri, Kelly Baty and husband, Ed, of Alton, Missouri and Jill Stephens of Wentworth, Missouri. Her extended family, Richard Williams and wife, Traci, of Ash Grove, Missouri, Katherine Allen of Ash Grove, Sherie Bradshaw and husband, Dale, of Ash Grove, Susan Bobo of Fort Worth, Texas, Brenda Kay Kirkpatrick of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Cindy Kyle and husband Walton, Sr. of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Danny Williams and wife, Stacy, of Ash Grove, twenty-nine grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; brother-in law, Ronnie Williams and wife, Nancy, of Granby, Missouri and sister-in-law, Twyla Harper and husband, Tom, of Carthage, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services for Lynn are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2024, at Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home with pastor Charles Chrisman officiating. Inurnment will follow in Sarcoxie Cemetery.
