(From Buchanan Funeral Home)Dennis Wayne Driver, 56, of Springfield, MO, formerly of Monett, MO, passed from this life on Friday, July 19, 2024 in Springfield, MO.
Dennis was born on July 17, 1968 in East Chicago, Indiana, son of Eddie Gazell Driver and Bernice Lucile (Hoelscher) Driver. Growing up, Dennis went to school in Purdy and Monett. During his working years, he had worked for IMEC in Monett and CrossBreed Holster in Republic. Dennis enjoyed many things in life, but he thoroughly loved photography and go-kart racing.
Dennis is survived by his mother and stepfather, Bernice and Danny Smith, of Stark City, MO; one brother, Phil Driver and wife Lora of Cassville, MO; one sister, Karen Smith and husband Scott, of Monett; and his nieces and nephews, McKenzie Flaherty, Summer Driver, Michael Flummerfelt and wife Josie, Madison Sullivan and husband Blake and Avery Smith; as well as several great-nieces and nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Driver.
A private graveside service will be held at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monett, MO. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
