(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Hattie Faye Gulick, 91, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri. Hattie was born October 28, 1932, in Reeds, Missouri to James Franklin Ritchie and Bessie Sanders; she was one of twelve children.
Hattie was a longtime Carthage resident. Through the years, she worked at various dry-cleaning businesses in the Carthage area. Hattie was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Hattie was united in marriage to Glenn R. Gulick in 1948 in Bentonville, Arkansas; he preceded her in death.
Hattie is survived by two sons, Glenn R. Gulick, Jr. of Joplin, Missouri, and James “Jim” Gulick of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Cecil Ritchie of Camdenton, Missouri; two grandchildren, Kate Klanke and Jennifer Gulick; and eight great grandchildren.
Hattie was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Gulick, Sr.; one son, Dana Gulick; her parents, James and Bessie Ritchie; ten siblings; and one granddaughter, Michelle Perry.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Avilla Cemetery in Avilla, Missouri.
