(From Ozark Funeral Home)Arnold E. Landers was born December 12, 1934, to Oliver Landers and Jewell Gardner Landers in Jane, Missouri.
After graduating from Pineville High School, Arnold joined the U.S. Army and served 2 years in Korea. Upon returning to the U.S. he settled in California and became a builder/contractor, starting his own company in 1959 in Tulare and Lindsay. In 1980, he and his wife returned to Missouri where he continued building and began farming.
Arnold married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Woodfill Landers, on June 25, 1955. Together they had 2 sons, Douglas (wife Susie) and Gregory (wife Debbie), 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Oliver Landers Jr and brother in-law Harry Woodfill. He is survived by his sister in-law Kay Landers, sister in-law Doris Woodfill, sister in-law Janet Perry and husband Walter, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Arnold was a strong Christian man who devoted many hours to serving the Lord. He used his God-given ability as a builder to help construct churches in California and Missouri and helped on many projects in each community he lived in.

Memorial services will be August 3, 2024, at the Pineville Christian Church at 10 AM.
