Debbie Longnecker

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Debra "Debbie" Lynn Longnecker, who departed this world on July 16, 2024. Born on July 26, 1963, in Stella, MO, Debra was a beacon of love, radiating compassion and kindness to all who knew her. Her infectious spirit and unwavering support left a lasting impression on every soul she encountered.

Debra was a smart woman, who made the most of her gifts in her chosen field. For over two decades, she served with dedication as a cook at Webb City Health and Rehab, where she was honored with a 25-year employment pin. Her passion extended to the home where she loved to crochet, finding joy in transforming strands of yarn into beautiful creations.

A lover of flea markets and KU basketball, Debra was a woman of diverse interests. But above all, what mattered most to her was taking care of her family and her cherished cats. She was always there to help any family in need, reflecting her innate compassionate nature.

"To the world, you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world." These words encapsulate Debra's life perfectly. She was the beloved wife of Marion Longnecker, to whom she was married since March 6, 1993. Beloved mother of Rusty, Crysta and Brittany Longnecker. She was the cherished daughter of Lyndell and Patricia Clark, and she bestowed upon them the richest love a daughter could offer.
