Sharron Chapman

Sharron Sue (Shaul) Chapman, age 86, of Lamar, Missouri passed away July 19, 2024 at her home in Lamar, MO., surrounded by her husband and family.

Sharron was born September 30, 1937 in St. Francis, Kansas to Glenn Porter Shaul and Gladys Marion (Fisher) Shaul. Sharron graduated from Lamar High School in the class of 1955. On December 25, 1955, Sharron married Merdith Ellis Chapman in Lamar, MO.







Sharron moved to Lamar at the age of 10.She was a member of Milford Christian Church for 26 years, where she shined for Christ through serving her church. She enjoyed traveling the world, working in her yard, playing golf, bowling, square dancing, and playing games with her family. She served her community by volunteering with Meals on Wheels, checking in items for the annual Lamar Fair, and supporting her husband, Merdith with his VFW responsibilities.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Merdith Chapman; one son, Roderic (Kim) Chapman; two daughters, Rhonda (Norman) Schipull and Rynelle (Philip) Ferrant; six grandchildren, Rachel Chapman, Robert (Nikki) Chapman, Kyle (Megan) Chapman, Sarah Peel, Brittany Ferrant and Jonathan Ferrant; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorlyne Schorzman and sister-in-law, Ellen Jo Morey.

Sharron was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Gladys Shaul; in-laws, Ellis and Esther Chapman; a brother, Eugene Shaul and his wife Maryann; sisters, Dorma Bradley and her husband Seth and Shirlee Miller and her husband Charles; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Fontella Garris; brothers-in-law, Loren Morey and Clarence Schorzman; and grandson, Brandon Peel.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Milford Christian Church with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lamar.








The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, July 22, 2024 at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested and made payable to Milford Christian Church in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
