(From Clark Funeral Home)Rhonda Kay Gilbert Beale was born on March 21, 1973, in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and entered into rest on July 18, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 51.
Rhonda graduated from Seneca High School, class of 1991 and was a longtime area resident. She worked for the Seneca Early Childhood program for twenty-four years as a paraprofessional. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed camping, bargain shopping, and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Elliott Jay.
She was a member of Racine Christian Church and was a member of the Women’s group, worked with Journey to Bethlehem and taught vacation bible school for many years.
On December 16, 1995, in Las Vegas, Rhonda and David Beale were united in marriage and David survives of the home.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Marissa Bard and husband, Kyler and Marleigh Cotten and husband, Zane, all of Joplin, one granddaughter, Elliott Jay Bard; her father and stepmother, Ron and Patty Gilbert of Stark City; her mother, Polly Gilbert of Neosho; her siblings, twin sister, Kerry Reeves and husband, Scott of Seneca, Robin Wolven and husband, Steven of Stark City, Kandace Henley and husband, Russell of Joplin and Kurt Gilbert and wife, Sarah of Neosho; mother-in-law, Linda Beale of Seneca, brother-in-law, Stephen Beale and wife, Mary of Toronto Ontario, Canada; nieces and nephews, Jalen Skaggs and wife, Chelsah and their son, Nolan, Jaron Skaggs, Kaylin Skaggs, Brendan Wolven, Austyn Wolven, Cason Wolven, Oliver Henley, Aleah Henley, Dakota Gilbert, Emily Gilbert and Justin Wasson and numerous other family and many friends.
Rhonda is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Leslie Beale and sister-in-law, Donna Mattox.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 10 am at the Racine Christian Church, Pastor John St. Clair will officiate. A private family graveside will follow. Serving as pallbearers will be Jalen Skaggs, Jaron Skaggs, Zane Cotten, Kyler Bard, Scott Reeves and Keith Henning. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, July 23, 2024, at the Racine Christian Church from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. Following the visitation, the casket will be closed and remain closed.
