Doris Marie Wallace, age 90, of Miami, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday July 18th at her home in Miami, Oklahoma.

Doris was born on January 8, 1934 in Picher, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Marie Gorman. She was a resident of Miami, Oklahoma.

Doris married her late husband Lesley Wallace at the age of seventeen. They had a love that was indescribable. They created a family together and lived in Miami, Oklahoma for most of their lives.

Doris worked at Walmart in Miami, Oklahoma for more than thirty years. She was loved by all who knew her. She loved sports and especially loved watching football. On a fall day you could find her watching any football game on television. She would often say Go Chiefs! Above all she loved the Lord and her family.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Marie Gorman, her husband Lesley Wallace, her daughter Tina Cravens, her grandson Corey Wallace, her granddaughter Kandy Kahler, her siblings Jerry Gorman, Kenneth Gorman and Carol Gorman.

Doris was survived by her children Nancy Brooks of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, her son Michael Wallace of Miami, Oklahoma, her daughter Lisa Wallace of Miami, Oklahoma, her son Kelly Wallace of Miami, Oklahoma, her grandchildren: Christopher Kahler of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Kevin Kahler of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Shaunda Brooks of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Jeremy Wallace of Seneca, Missouri, Jennifer Smith of Miami, Oklahoma, Travis Cravens of Miami, Oklahoma, twelve great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

Family viewing will be on Sunday July 21 from 3-5 p.m. Open viewing will be on Monday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, Oklahoma. No services will be held.
