Juliet Hardee

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juliet Dorcell Hardee, who gracefully departed this life on April 11, 2026, at her residence in Webb City, Missouri.

Born on March 24, 1962, in Joplin, MO, USA, Juliet was a courageous woman, an ambitious spirit, and a compassionate soul who lived a life of resilience. Juliet was a woman of passionate faith who loved Jesus and preached His love to anyone who would listen, always finding a way to connect with those around her. She traveled and spoke widely, spreading joy and the love of Christ wherever she went. Her compassion for people was the distinguishing characteristic of her life, from her family to her vast circle of friends, and the impact of her ministry was felt by all who knew her.

Juliet was the first person in her family to graduate college in 2011 and received the Outstanding Alumni Award from Ozark Christian College in 2026. She devoted her life to the service of women recovering from addiction and abuse, and founded Guiding Light Ministries nearly twenty years ago. Juliet had the opportunity to change the lives of over 4,000 women through the work of this ministry, and in recent years began a second ministry called Sewing Kindness in Kenya to give education and employment to widows. She loved to travel to Africa and thought of Kenya as her second home, spending time working and ministering there as often as she was able.

Juliet was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Helen Hardee and her son, Brayden Hardee. She is survived by her son, Theron (Emily) Hardee, and their children, Nolan, Brayden and Eleanor Hardee. She left behind a legacy of love and strength, her memory living on through her son and his family.

A visitation with the opportunity for sharing memories will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 6:00pm at Ozark Christian College, 1111 North Main Street Road, Joplin, Missouri, 64801. The funeral service will take place on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10:00am at the same venue. A private graveside service will follow.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Juliet Hardee Memorial Scholarship at Ozark Christian College in care of the Funeral Home.

Services are under the personal care direction of Simpson Funeral Home. The family encourages relatives and friends to visit www.simpsonfh.com to share photos and memories of Juliet. As we remember Juliet, let us celebrate the wonderful life she lived and the countless lives she touched.
