(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Marjorie Helen Norris, 83, of Carthage, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Chapters Living of Joplin, Missouri. Marjorie (Margie) entered this life on August 25, 1942, to Charles and Marjorie Hull in Poughkeepsie, New York.
On December 16, 2000, Margie was united in marriage to Joseph Norris, and they enjoyed many years together going to music shows and spending time together until Joe’s death on June 10, 2019.
Margie was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Carthage, Missouri. She loved the Lord deeply and was baptized in Center Creek in Sarcoxie, Missouri on May 6, 2001. She loved to do needlepoint and knitting and spending time with dear friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her parents, and her son Charles Cornelius.
Margie is survived by her stepdaughter Kathy (Norris) Bridges (Scott) and two stepsons Joe Norris and Tom Norris (Kelli): Step grandchildren, Athena (James) Jones, Mark (Amanda) Norris, Greg Norris (Kersy), Sara Caster (Cody) and Macie Bridges.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her parents, and her son Charles Cornelius.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, at Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, Missouri with Bonnie Grace officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey Cemetery.
