Maudie Deloris (Brandon) Hood, age 86, of Wyandotte, passed away on April 9, 2026
Maudie was born on June 28, 1939 in Joplin, MO, the daughter of Ermal and Deloris Brandon. She attended Joplin schools and spent her life caring for multiple generations of family.
She married Raymond J Hood, the son of the late Eugene J. and Frances Hood on February 9, 1957 in Carthage, MO.
She is survived by one son, Raymond. E Hood, of Wyandotte; three daughters, Frances Helck and husband Roland, Bellmawr, NJ, Barbara Ippolite and husband Tom Jr, Westville, NJ, and Machelle Hibbs and husband James J. Jr., Wyandotte.
Additional survivors include five grandchildren; Michael Bragg, Bambie Cleveland, MaDonna Clark, Thomas Ippolite, and Joseph Ippolite and wife Jessica; and nine great grandchildren Aurora Bragg, Jack Henry, Zemora Henry, Estella Henry, Maria 'Casey' Grana, Harley Clark, Emilee Clark, Avery Clark, and Johnathan Clark; and four siblings; Dorothy Martin, Charlie Brandon, Clara Pennington and husband Clifford, and JR Brandon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Hood, father, Ermal Brandon, Mother, Deloris Brandon, and brothers Donald Brandon, Ermal 'Pete' Brandon, and Gerry Wiseman
