Patricia Joy Baumann, age 84, Carthage, Missouri, passed away early Sunday morning, June 2, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, Missouri. Patricia Joy Rogers was born December 20, 1934 in Galena, Kansas to the late John Rogers and Margaret (Jones) Rogers.
She was a 1952 graduate of Riverton High School, Riverton, Kansas. Patricia married James R. Baumann on October 12, 1952 in Harrison, Arkansas; he preceded her in death on May 31, 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church, Carthage.
Survivors include three daughters, Rexanna Baumann, Carthage, Shelly Wilcox (Bob), Carthage, and Kelly Gadberry (Dale), Mt. Sterling, Illinois; two brothers, Charles Rogers (Deanna), Beatrice, Oklahoma, and Buddy Rogers (Betty), Galena, Kansas; one sister-in-law, Loretta Rogers; ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, John Baumann, one sister, Marlys Weston, and one brother, Kenneth Rogers.
Visitation will be held 1-2 pm, Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Funeral services will follow at 2 pm. Interment will be held at Park Cemetery, Carthage. Memorial gifts are suggested to the First Christian Church Youth Fund in care of Knell Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
