Marilyn Clark, 90, Neosho, MO entered into rest September 9, 2019. She was born May 16, 1929 in New York City, NY to Julius and Ida (Klein) Zuckerman.
Marilyn was a housewife with many interests. She received her realtor’s license in 1977 in Kentucky. Upon Russell’s retirement in 1979, they returned to Neosho where they raised Limousin cattle and were members of the North American Limousin Association.
Marilyn was a member of VFW Auxiliary Post 4142, the Flowerbox City Newcomer’s Club, and the Neosho Area Widow to Widow Group. She was an avid bridge player and a member of the Neosho Women’s Bridge Club, and she also enjoyed bowling.
Marilyn and Russell Clark were united in marriage on August 31, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY; Russell preceded her in death on March 21, 1994.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Carol Clark of Neosho; three grandchildren, Stephanie Laney and husband, Todd of Neosho, MO, Shelley Merrill and husband, Blake of Carl Junction, MO, and David Clark and wife, Jaclyn of Ft. Smith, AR; six great grandchildren, Fallon, Lexi, Lauren, Colton, Amelia, and Nolan; and one sister, Edith Braunstein of Florida.
In addition to her husband, Russell, Marilyn was preceded in death by their son, Richard Clark; two brothers, Joseph Parker and Martin Zuckerman; and two sisters, Lee Seeman and Carol Maggio.
A graveside service will be held 12:30 pm, Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Granby Memorial Cemetery, Granby, MO. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 am until 12 pm at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
