Diane Holliday Sirmon, age 59 of Joplin, Mo. passed away early Saturday, February 13, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Diane was born on October 31, 1956 in Montgomery, Al., the daughter of Fred and Eloise (Hall) Holliday. She has been an area resident for many years. Diane worked as a Branch Manager for Arvest Bank for 10 years, for the last 6 years she worked as the Office Manager for the Carthage Animal Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and loved watching Auburn football, but most of all, loved to spend time with her family.
She married Levy Sirmon on February 27, 1982 in Montgomery, Al., he survives. Additional survivors include two sons; Jennings Sirmon and wife Hayley of Joplin, Shelton Sirmon of Joplin, one sister; Cindy Scott and husband Martin of Pike Road, Al., two brothers; Robert Holliday and wife Bridget of Montgomery, Brian Holliday and wife Pam of Luverne, Al. Diane was preceded in death by her father, Fred, and by a brother, Daniel Holliday.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016, at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
