Robert ‘Red’ Cline of Fairview, Missouri, died February 4, 2016 at his home at the age of 79.
Robert was born Sept. 22, 1936 in Ft. Scott, Kansas and had served in the U.S. Navy. He lived in California and worked as a mechanic for Harley Davidson and moved to the Fairview area in 2000, where he owned and operated a small engine repair business. He enjoyed racing and fishing.
Robert married Della (James) Cline on Oct. 18, 1958 and she survives. He is also survived by three sons, Ty Cline of Fairview; Carl Cline of Kannapolis, NC and Troy Cline and wife, Denise of Mooresville, NC; two sisters, Dorothy Riley of Buffalo, MO and Vesta Holloway of Orville, CA and three grandchildren, Nick Drake, Trevor Cline and Courtney Cline. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
