Patricia Kirks, age 77, of Pierce City, MO died on Sunday, February 07, 2016, at The Journey Home in Bartlesville, OK. Mrs. Kirks was born in Wentworth, MO on Wednesday, August 31, 1938. She was the daughter of Floyd and Mildred (Hagebusch) Honsinger. She was an accountant and worked for Argo Petroleum Co. in Alaska for several years. Mrs. Kirks was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City where she was past president of PCCW.
Surviving are the following: two sons, Mark Owen and wife, Kim, of Nowata, OK and Bart A. Owen of Pierce City, MO; one sister, Barbara Walton of Neosho, MO; one grandson, Jesi Owen; and two great-grandchildren, Braxton and Bronc Owen. Mrs. Kirks was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Honsinger.
The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Friday, February 26, 2016, from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at VanBuren Cemetery, near Wentworth, MO, on Saturday, February 27, 2016, beginning at 10:30 AM with Father Peter J. Morciniec officiating. Burial will follow at VanBuren Cemetery in Wentworth, MO.
Memorials may be made to St Mary's Catholic School in care of the funeral home.
