Digger Patterson

Alan ‘Digger’ Patterson, 68, Neosho, died February 2, 2016 at Freeman West Hospital, following a lengthy illness. 

Digger was born January 17, 1948 in Stella, Missouri, the son of Bob and Betty (Sappington) Patterson. He graduated from Neosho High School in 1966 and was a licensed barber. Digger enjoyed golfing and playing pool and was a true friend to many. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Joplin. 

Digger is survived by two daughters, Ina Hahn of Neosho and Tya Bruiccia of Streamwood, IL; one brother, Jack Patterson of Neosho; one sister, Lynn Otey and husband, Jim of Neosho; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
