Richard H. Nazarian, age 65 of Oronogo, Mo., passed away early Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Freeman Hospital following an illness.
Richard was born on June 9, 1950 in Detroit, Mi., the son of Henry and Anita (Semeroff) Nazarian. He has been an area resident since 2007, Richard worked as a truck driver for Sitton Motor Lines before retiring in 2009. He loved hard rock music, food and spending time with friends and family. Richard is a beloved husband, father and brother and will be greatly missed.
He married Rebecca Funk on April 20, 2000, she survives. Additional survivors include one daughter; Jenifer Nazarian of Indianapolis, In., a sister; Carol Norris and husband Barry of Charleston, S.C., and sister-in-law; Andie McKay of Oronogo. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and by his son, Richard Nazarian, Jr.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation following the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
