(From Parker Mortuary)Billie Irene Coble, age 85 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 29, 1939 in Joplin to the late Frank W. Norberg and Myrtle Irene (Matchell) Norberg.
Billie graduated from Joplin High School with the class of 1957. Earlier in years, she worked for the Joplin Landfill in the 70’s, followed by a career as a C.N.A. doing private care for many families. She was a long-time member of Southside Baptist Church of Joplin and has been attending Faith Holiness Church of Joplin due to her declining health.
Other than her parents, Billie is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Coble, whom were united in marriage on December 20, 1974 and passed on October 23, 2010; two sons, Kenny and Albert Coble.
Those left to mourn her loss include a son, Frank Coble and girlfriend, Susan of Joplin; grandchildren; Lauren Register, Toby Coble, Amy Coble and Preston Coble (girlfriend, Shayle Heavin); great-grandchild, Paisley; daughter in-law, Dorothy Coble of Joplin; cousin, Carla Norberg and a special dog, Tramp Anthony Coble.
Funeral services are planned for Friday, July 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary with visitation to follow. Internment of ashes will take place at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
