(From Paynic Home for Funerals)David J. “Crow” Jordan, 82, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center in St. Louis.
Born Sept. 22, 1941 in St. Louis, he was a son of Michael William “Bill” and Sylvia (Hullverson) Jordan.
“Crow” retired as Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force in 1980 after 20 years of service. He later served as a maintenance planner for the Coffeen Power Plant and retired from there as well. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf, shooting trap, and he loved singing karaoke.
He married Donna M. Bebie Jan. 13, 1981 in Edwardsville. She survives, as well as his sister, Mary (Merle) Brase of Moro; a sister-in-law, Rose Melanie (Bobby) McKeehan of Stella, MO, a brother-in-law, Richard Lee (Arcie) Bebie, Sr. of Neosho, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William Jordan and Michael W. Jordan.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 at Paynic Home for Funerals. He will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
