(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Kristin Dawn Walker of Miami, OK passed from this life Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO. She was 52.
Kristin was born October 11, 1971 in Miami, OK to Alvin Edwards and Linda Kay Sixkiller. She had lived in Miami most of her life. She was a member of the Cherokee Nation.
Kristin was preceded in death by her husband Aaron Walker and her parents.
Survivors include 2 sons, Jeffery Edwards of Miami, OK and Cherokee Brown and Fiancé’ Jessica Kilgore of Wyandotte, OK, 3 daughters, Jennifer Rogers and husband Johnny Hinds of Joplin, MO, Kassandra Deaton and husband Dustin of Miami, OK and Amy Beverage and husband Tyler of Pocola, OK, 3 sisters, Shannon Sparks and husband Greg of Vinita, OK, Shilah Rider and Candy Proctor of Afton, OK, 16 grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Shawn King will conduct Native American Rites.
