(From Clark Funeral Home)Norma Lee (Long) Ledford, age 82, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on July 4, 2024. She was born on May 21, 1942, in Stella, Missouri, the beloved daughter of Roy and Opal (Pogue) Long.
On November 8, 1957, Norma married Charles Eugene Ledford in Miami, Oklahoma. They shared many wonderful years together until his passing on December 4, 2011.
Norma was a loving and dedicated family woman who cherished spending time with her family. She had a passion for cooking, especially her famous meatloaf and meatballs, which brought joy to many family gatherings. She was also a devoted volunteer at the local help center, always ready to lend a helping hand.
She worked at the Neosho Daily News as an inserter, where she was admired for her dedication and hard work.
Norma is survived by her sons Rick (Carol) Ledford and Jim (Tammy) Ledford, her sister Bonnie (Billie) Phelan, and her grandchildren Jeff Ledford, Brian Ledford, Kia (Dakota) Smith, and Savannah Ledford. She also leaves behind five cherished great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri. Visitation will take place on the same day at 9:00 A.M. at the Clark Funeral Home.
Norma's warmth, kindness, and generosity touched many lives. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
