(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Patricia Margaret Brooks peacefully departed this life on July 10, 2024. She was 88 years old.
Born on June 18, 1936, to Earl and Dorothy DeRemer of Pueblo, Colorado, Patricia touched the hearts of all who knew her with her unwavering kindness and gentle spirit.
As a devoted wife, Patricia shared 69 years with her beloved husband, Ralph Brooks. They were married December 19, 1954, and together they built a life filled with warmth and laughter, setting an example of enduring love for their family and friends. They were long-standing members of the First Presbyterian Church of Sarcoxie, Missouri.
Survivors include her husband Ralph, son Randy Brooks (Fairbanks, AK), son Brian and Val Brooks (Cotter, AR), daughter Annette and Don Helms (Oronogo, MO), daughter Kathy Royce (Springfield, MO), son Scott and Paula Brooks (Sarcoxie, MO), son Christopher and Katherine Brooks (Sarcoxie, MO), sister Jane Patterson (Waco, TX), 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Patricia's departure has left an irreplaceable void in our lives, but her spirit will continue to live on in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
Graveside services for Mrs. Brooks are 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2024, at Sarcoxie Cemetery with Chaplin Karen Satterfield officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. prior to the service at Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie. In-lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church Scholarship of Sarcoxie in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home, Sarcoxie, Missouri.
