Shelly Wood

Shelly Wood, age 60, of Joplin, Missouri passed away at her home Friday July 5, 2024 from injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle.

She was born February 13, 1964 in Joplin, Missouri.

Shelly was employed at Cardinal Scales as a purchasing clerk. She loved being outdoors, working in her yard, riding on the motorcycle with her husband, and playing with her grandkids. She also loved spoiling her fur baby Chyna.

She married Butch Wood on February 29, 2020 and he survives. She is also survived by three sons, Zachary Sharon and wife Lacey, Webb City, Missouri, Cody Sharon and wife Amber, Seneca, Missouri, Dakota Sharon, Diamond, Missouri; one step son, Travis Wood and wife Anna, Catoosa, Oklahoma; two brothers Bill Davis, Gary Davis; one sister, Theresia Danner; five grandchildren, Landon, Haylee, Braxton, Hunter, and Sammy, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be 1:00pm Saturday July 20, 2024 at the First Baptist Church, Seneca, Missouri. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 pm (Noon) prior to the service.
