Mary Rousselle

Mary R. Rousselle, 80, of Sarcoxie, Missouri passed away in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Mary was born Friday, March 3, 2025, in Buffalo, New York to the union of the late Archie and Margaret (McMahan) Rousselle.

She received her master’s degree in education, and taught school for several years. Later she enjoyed the trucking industry, traveling many miles across the county. She was a member of Joplin Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed working at the Sarcoxie Library, embroidering, quilting, reading and teaching Sunday School.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Mary is survived by siblings, David Rousselle and wife, Colleen, Phillip Rousselle and wife, Narcellas, Lee Rousselle and wife, Kay, William Rousselle and wife, Marsha and Virginia Sharpy and husband, David; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Valerie and Dennis Harper; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mary are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home, with Pastor Ed Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Cave Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
