(From Locke Funeral Home)Dr. Paul Edward Lee Eggerman, born on February 18, 1941, in Neosho, Missouri to Ruth (Albin) and Paul Eggerman, was a devoted mental health professional and scholar.
A graduate of Joplin High School, he earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology and History from Pittsburg State University in Kansas, followed by a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. He retired from the Abbe Center Mental Health and his private practice, leaving a lasting impact on his community.
On August 15, 1982, Dr. Eggerman married Dr. Sinda Eggerman in Iowa City, Iowa. Residing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he lovingly raised his children—Kathryn Wesley (married to Kelley), (with children Ellie and Piper), and son David—and cherished his stepdaughters, Tama Radl (with children Aaron, Joshua, Micaiah, Gabriella, Adan, and Zelalem) and Jessica Radl (with daughters Enya and Maya).
