Bud Prigg

Carl “Bud” J Prigg age 87 of Webb City, MIssouri passed away Monday, May 6th at his home. He was born in Creston, Iowa on June 27, 1931 to Maxine (Chubb) Prigg and Russell Prigg. 

He grew up in Jasper, Missouri and graduated from Jasper High School. In 1953 he served in the Korean War. 

At age 24 he married Virginia (Jordan) Prigg of Oronogo, Missouri and later had two sons Ricky and Tracy Prigg and two daughters Linda (Prigg) Mayes and Kimberly (Prigg) Spencer. Bud retired from Carthage Marble as a supervisor. Then he went to work at Loma Linda as a greenskeeper and irrigation technician until 1985. He was a member of Well Spring Church in Webb City, Missouri. 

Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Prigg in 2013 and son, Tracy Prigg in 2014.








He is survived by a son, Ricky Prigg of Webb City, two daughters, Linda and her husband George Mayes of Webb City and Kimberly and her husband Rick Spencer of Springfield; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. 

Celebration of life will be held at WellSpring Church 2424 North Main Street, Webb City, MO. on Saturday, May 11th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations may be made to the Tracy Prigg Memorial Fund.
