Wanda Stutzman

Wanda Stutzman, age 75, of Joplin, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at her home. Daughter of the late Wiley and Esther (MacAlexander) Chapman, she was born on January 18, 1944 in Wichita, KS.

She was previously employed as a human resource secretary for Class LTD in Columbus, KS. Wanda was a generous, kind, and loving mother first and foremost. She loved to cook fudge and enjoyed watching murder mysteries with her kids and grandkids. She was a baptized and active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.








Survivors include three sons, Robert Beatty, and his wife, Susana, of Olathe, KS, Michael Slayden, and his wife, Angela, of Fresno, CA, and Christopher Stutzman, of Houston, TX; three daughters, Connie Mortell, and her husband, William, of Weir, KS, Deborah Aquilar, of Joplin, and Joanna Ekhoff, and her husband, Shadron, of Joplin; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a celebration of life service on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness at 1201 South Schifferdecker.
