Joel Lester Wall passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Joel was born in Hugo, Oklahoma on December 30, 1931 to Joel Thornton and Dorothy (French) Wall.
Joel married his beautiful bride, Wanita Ruth (Kitchens) on November 6,1954 at First Baptist Church in Midwest City, OK. He worked as a data processing manager at Kimray, Inc. until his retirement in 2000 and continued on as chaplain for the company until 2006. Joel was an active member in his church as an ordained deacon, Sunday School teacher, and sang bass in the church choir. Joel was a loving husband for 65 years, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Above all, Joel loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and is rejoicing in heaven with Him today.
He is survived by his wife Wanita Wall, one brother, John, three children, Joel Phillip Wall and wife Tommye Wall of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Jesse Wall and wife Sarah Wall of Carl Junction, Missouri, Jennifer Doshier and husband David Doshier of Neosho, Missouri, seven grandchildren, Karleigh Wall Perkins, Morgan Clark and Lavon Clark, Jr., Allison Binswanger, Jacob Wall and wife Ceirra Wall, Bradyn Wall, Zeke Wall, Kathryn Doshier and five great grandchildren, Carson Binswanger, Boyd Perkins, Abram Wall, William Clark and Samantha Clark and countless other family and friends.
Arrangements via Simpson Funeral Home, Webb City, Missouri. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m.and funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Carthage, Missouri. Graveside Service will be held immediately after funeral services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Webb City, Missouri.
