Donald G. Versluis, 87, Scottsdale, Arizona, formerly of Neosho, entered into rest on May 28, 2019 in Scottsdale, following an illness. Don was born September 15, 1931 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Paul and Nellie (Putt) Versluis.
Don had served as Chief of Police in Michigan, was an aviation instructor at Purdue and after relocating to Neosho, he was the corporate pilot for Teledyne for many years. He enjoyed flying, fishing and especially spending time with his family.
Don is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia 'Pat' Versluis in 2005.
He is survived by four sons, David Versluis of Neosho, Don Versluis and wife, Ashley of Bentonville, Arkansas, Joey Versluis and wife, Brandi of Neosho and Paul Versluis and wife, Cheri of Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren, Cassie, Courtney, Darbi, Elizabeth, Emma, Carter, Leyton, Finn, Wren and Owen and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at a memorial visitation on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 10 am - 12 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
