Sally Ann Benson, of Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, in the Dade County Nursing Home at the age of 72.
She was born on March 23, 1947 in Carthage, MO, and her parents were Oliver C. and Margaret (Morgan) Wuellner.
Sally was united in marriage to Tony Benson on May 10, 1975 in Carthage, MO. She worked as a C.N.A. Sally enjoyed gardening and was a nature person. She loved to write and listen to music. Sally had a gift to connect with people. She had a contagious smile, and left this world smiling.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Oliver and Harriet Wuellner; her birth mother, Margaret Morgan; and her sister, Janace McCary.

Survivors include her husband, Tony Benson; her children, Anthony Benson and wife Jennifer, Heather Huddle and husband Jimmy, Eric Benson and wife Rebecka, Beth Benson and partner Jethro Cunningham, and Cara Davis and husband Bobby; seventeen grandchildren; one niece, Julia Henson; and one nephew, Michael Brosenne.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019, in Greenfield Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dade County Nursing Home.
