Ruby Jane Garber Warren, age 84, Joplin, passed away at 12:08 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.
Ruby was born September 29, 1934 in Reed Springs, Missouri to the late Benjamin Garber and Nola Mae Young Garber and had lived in the Joplin area most of her life.
As a Home Health Care Aide, Ruby spent many of her adult years caring for the needs of others and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include two sisters, Mattie Boyd and Sue Long, both of Joplin; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Garber and Floyd Garber.
Memorial services are planned for Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends following the services at the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
