Terry Streight

Terry James Streight, age 70, Joplin, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at his home.

Terry was born February 20, 1949 in Elizabeth, Illinois, son of the late Luke Streight and Estella Atkins Streight Mauller. He grew up in Illinois, and lost his father at young age, and was raised by his mother and stepfather, Bill Mauller. He served in the United States Navy, and moved to California where he lived for several years. He moved to the Joplin area in 1985, and worked in home construction most of his adult life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Estella Mauller, and his father, Luke Streight.

Survivors include his sons, Luther Streight (Deann) of Joplin, and Keegan Streight (Amanda) of Oronogo, Missouri; grandchildren, Kaidon Streight, KeeAnna Streight, Aidan Streight, Kamden Streight, and Ardyn Streight; brothers, Billy Streight (Marge) of Wichita, Kansas, Michael Streight (Lori) of Joplin; nieces and nephews, Luke Streight, Dusty Streight, and Ashley Streight.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary. No formal services are planned at this time.
