Shirley Ann Baker, 76, Neosho, MO, passed away May 8, 2019. She was born October 9, 1942 in Flint, MI to Linus and Isabel (Blakeslee) Gross.
Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed playing games, singing, painting, and shopping. She was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Neosho.
Shirley and Fredrick H. Baker were married July 28, 1962; he preceded her in death on June 5, 2006.
Shirley is survived by three children, Todd Baker of Joplin, Susanne Byers and husband, Matthew of Stevensville, MI, and Stephen Baker of Joplin; two sisters, Maxine Fitch of Bonita Springs, FL, and Elaine Connie of Burton, MI; twenty-three grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. Shirley was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Teresa Bro; one grandson, Bryson; and one granddaughter, Rachelle.
Services will be 10 am Monday, May 13, 2019 at Clark Chapel of Memories, Neosho. Pastor Ken Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Neosho. The family will have a time of visitation on Sunday, May 12 at Clark Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
