Johnny Hinds

Johnny Lee Hinds, age 73, Parsons, Kansas, passed away at 2:47 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at his home.

Johnny was born September 18, 1945 in Joplin, Missouri to the late John “Emmett” Hinds and Audry Francis Hinds.

He worked at Day and Zimmerman, formerly known as the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant in Parsons for 43 years.

Johnny married Colleen Infield on December 27, 1975 in Joplin.








Survivors include three children, Rhonda Kaddour and husband, Fahmi, Naples, Italy, Jack Hinds and Lori Dupuis, Magnolia, Texas, Johnny Hinds and wife, Kathie, Carl Junction; a brother, Leroy Williams and wife, Anna, Cleveland, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Jett-Ramy, Ashley, Kelsey, Johnny III, Courtney, Hadlee, Devore, Dillion, Dallas; 4 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Judith Hinds; and a brother-in-law, James Infield.

In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen, 3 years ago this month and by their daughter April, and a sister, Patricia.

Graveside services are planned for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Webb City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
