Dennis Phillip Gano, 65, Neosho, MO, entered into rest on May 24, 2019. He was born March 22, 1954 in Tomahawk, WI to Michael and Ramona (Goolie) Gano.
Dennis retired from the US Army; he proudly served his country during the Vietnam era. Dennis played and sang with several bluegrass, country, and religious groups in the area. He loved his family, music, and everything about the outdoors.
Dennis and Mattie (Smith) Gano were married August 20, 1977; she survives of the home.

He is also survived by four children: Bobbie Jean Cossar and husband, Gordan of Pueblo, CO, Leigh Ann Carson and husband, Craig of Pelican Lake, WI, and twins, Joseph Lynn Gano of Stevens Point, WI and Jeremy Gano and wife, Suzanne of Falls Church, VA; two brothers, Bryan Gano and Dewayne Gano, both of Irma, WI; one sister, Darlene Kawalski of WI; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.
A Gathering of Remembrance will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 4:00 until 5:30 pm at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO. Contributions in honor of Dennis may be made to Faithful Friends Animal Advocates, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
