Mary Elizabeth Brunner, age 101, of Springfield, Missouri, formerly of La Russell, Missouri, passed away at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at the Manor at Elfindale in Springfield. She was born October 15, 1917, in Red Oak, Missouri, the daughter of the late Derbrow Winfield and Bessie Lenore (Hagler) Williams.
Mary was a homemaker, a member of the Plew Extension Club and the Plew Missionary Group.
On December 31, 1941, she married Loren Elmer Brunner, in Springfield. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1994.
Mary is survived by her niece, Carol Ann Pyle and her husband, Calvin, of Golden City, Missouri; nephew, Eugene Charles and his wife, Martha, of Springfield, Missouri and several great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019, at the Red Oak Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.FossettMosherFuneralHome.com.
