Allen Youngblood

(From Simpson Funeral Home)

Allen Youngblood, a humble and dedicated soul, took his final journey on July 4, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a profound sense of family. Born on December 29, 1969, in Carthage, Missouri, Allen spent his life cherishing the simple joys of existence. His infectious humor and loving nature made him a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew him.

Allen was a man of many talents and passions, he helped his father build trailers as a young kid which led to his lifelong enjoyment for welding. His dedication to his craft was a testament to his character, a man who believed in the dignity and importance of hard work. But his life was not all toil and labor. Allen was also an avid fisherman, hunter, and connoisseur of driving dirt roads.

He was a man who found peace and pleasure in the simplicities of life. His laughter was the soundtrack of many fishing trips and hunting expeditions, echoing through the trees and across the waters of his beloved Diamond.

Those who knew Allen remember him as a man who was always there when needed, a testament to his loving nature and dedication to family and friends. He believed in living life to the fullest and instilled this philosophy in those around him. His jovial nature and infectious humor will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those he left behind. As Allen always said "We're here for a good time, not a long time". Allen's life was indeed a good time and was cherished and admired by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Allen was preceded in passing by his grandmother Louise Reid and his aunt Linda Youngblood. He is survived by his Mother Janice Lawman; Father Lloyd Youngblood and step-mother Lanita Youngblood; step-brothers Larry Eden and Chris Eden; step-sister Shannon Eden; daughter Shelby Youngblood and son AJ Youngblood.

There will be a Celebration of Life, Saturday July 13, 2024 at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Diamond. The family encourages relatives and friends to visit www.simpsonfh.com to share photos and memories of their loved one, Allen Youngblood. Remember him as he was – humble, dedicated, loving, and always ready with a joke to brighten your day. His life was beautifully lived, and he leaves behind many memories that will forever warm our hearts.
