Hastig Alik

Hastig Alik was born on December 16, 1963, in Pohnpei, Micronesia. He entered into rest on July 3, 2024, at his home in Anderson, Missouri, at the age of 60. 

Hastig graduated from high school and attended college in Guam. While in Micronesia, he worked as a sheriff’s officer and as a security guard for CEC. 








On February 24, 2006, he moved from Micronesia to southwest Missouri and currently resided in Anderson at Tyson’s and Jasper Products. He was a member of the FMCC Church and served as Pastor. He enjoyed playing baseball, fishing and singing. 

On August 21, 1988, in Pohnpei, Hastig and Ilsihna Ikosia were united in marriage, and she survives. 

Additional survivors include two daughters, Nihna Fred and husband, Johnny and Nanette Isaac and husband, Joe; five grandchildren, Annette Fred, Abresel Fred, Jona Isaac, Jonette Asaac and Joyslin Isaac; three nieces, Charlene Casey and husband, Robert and their children, Tae-Shawn and Trent, Suzette Dick and husband, Whyneld and Keikilani Samson; an aunt, Lipihner Theopulos and numerous other nieces and nephews. 








He is preceded in death by his siblings, Swistihna Alik, Alexander Alik, Viola Samson, Harvey Alik and Benskin Alik. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10 am at the FMCC Church in Neosho. Interment will follow in the Howard Cemetery, Goodman, Missouri.
