(From Buchanan Funeral Home)Jennifer Leigh Bennett, 45, of Purdy, MO, passed from this life to her Heavenly home on Friday, March 7, 2025 following a sudden illness.
Jennifer was born on July 11, 1979 in Springfield, MO, daughter of Gary and Jeanne (Young) Bennett. Jennifer graduated from Purdy High School with the class of 1997 and then furthered her education at Drury University. Jennifer worked in the Eyecare Department at Wal-Mart in Neosho for over fifteen years. She was a member of Arnhart Baptist Church and enjoyed going to concerts in her spare time.
Jennifer is survived by her daughter, Aubree Bennett, of Butterfield, MO; her mother, Jeanne Bennett, of Purdy; two brothers, Jeff Bennett and Teri Ediger of Verona, MO and Jason Bennett and wife Kimberly, of Rogers, AR; her niece and nephews, Lauren Bennett, Luke Bennett, Levi Bennett, Devon Bennett and Garrett Bennett; her aunt and uncle, Tommy and Judy Terry; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her dad, Gary Bennett; her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Mildred Bennett; and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Mabel Young.
Funeral service for Jennifer will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Buchanan Funeral Home with Reverend Eddie Bowman officiating. Interment will be held in the Arnhart Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
