Annabelle Sill, age 81, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Mercy-Maude Norton Hospital in Columbus, Kansas.
Annabelle was born April 28, 1934 in Joplin, to the late Max Haase and Minnie Studyvin Haase. She was a lifelong resident of Joplin, graduating from Joplin High School in 1952. Annabelle was a seamstress at La-Z Boy Manufacturing for several years as well as a cook for the Joplin R-8 School District and Mercy Health Systems, retiring in 2000. Annabelle love to collect angels and spent as much of her time with family as possible.
Annabelle is survived by her husband, Robert O. Sill, whom she married on February 14, 1953, in Joplin, Missouri.
Additional survivors include sons, Robert O. Sill, II and wife, Kim, of Chelsea, OK., David B. Sill and wife, Lorene, of Lyman, S.C., Darren W. Sill and wife, Amy, of Joplin; daughter, Rhonda J. Reynolds and husband, Mark, of Joplin; brother, Marvin Haase, of Joplin; sister, Darlene LaGasse, also of Joplin; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Max and Kyle Sill; sister, Martha Nell Daggett and two brothers, Delmar Haase, Sr. and Max Haase.
Services are planned for Thursday, August 6th at 10:00 a.m. at Lifepoint Church in Joplin. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Lifepoint Church in care of the mortuary.
