Robert “Bob” Wesley Casey, Jr., 65, Carl Junction, MO, passed away on Tuesday evening, August 18, 2015 at his home after a lengthy illness. Robert Casey Jr. was born September 9, 1949, in Brookhaven, PA to the late Robert Wesley Casey, Sr. and Ethel Lulu Pitman. He graduated from Sun Valley Senior High School in Aston, PA as class president. He later attended military college in Chester, PA. Robert married Judith Sellers on September 19, 1998. He worked for Jack Cooper Transport doing statistical analysis for car hauling logistics. He was attending Faith Assembly of God Church, Joplin, MO.

Survivors include his wife; Judith (Sellers) Casey, Carl Junction, MO; one step daughter; Amanda Stinson; and one brother; Thomas G. Casey, Brookhaven, PA.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Knell Mortuary Chapel. Minister Larry Griffin will officiate. Cremation will take place after the funeral. Inurnment will be in Plainview Cemetery, Normangee, TX, at a later date. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Joplin Humane Society in care of Knell Mortuary, 308 W. Chestnut, Carthage, MO 64836.
