Twyla M. Dedrickson age 82, of Joplin passed away on Tuesday, August 4th, 2015.
She was born in Galena, Kansas to Edgar DeGraff and Lura Hankins on December 2, 1932. Twyla was a member of the Fir Road Christian Church, Four State Christian Singles, Freeman Prestige, and visited College Heights Christian Church. She worked for Elders Manufacturing for 18 years. She also worked for Eagle Pitcher and then retired from Rosenheck Insurance Company in 1996 in Tulsa. After retirement she worked at Crossmark and also did food samples for Walmart.
Twyla is survived by her daughters, Robin Blotter and husband Kelly of Webb City, Tammie Greenberg of Carl Junction; and one granddaughter, Allison Blotter of Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Elmer DeGraff, Farris Gene DeGraff, Julius Dean DeGraff, Harold Dean DeGraff; sisters, Ruby DeGraff, Esther Cantrell, Alta Barclay, and Maxine Richardson. She was always a very happy, loving, talkative person who loved people and loved her family dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Fir Road Christian Church with Pastor Kelly Ross, Pastor Dan Toney, and Pastor Lee Williams officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Simpson Funeral Home in Carl Junction. Burial will be at the Mound Cemetery.
