Ms. Linda Kay Alley, 52, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Missouri, after months of declining health.
Linda entered this life on March 9, 1963, in Neosho, Missouri, the youngest of three daughters born to the union of the late Overton Lawrence and Elsie Rosella (Wood) Alley. She resided in Wichita, Kansas until moving to Anderson, Missouri in 1974. She attended Anderson State School until the age of twenty-one and was a member of Patterson Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed the Special Olympics, gospel and country music, collecting calendars, eating pizza and always looked forward to each and every holiday.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Rose Anne Wilson.
Linda is survived by her sister, Mary Sue Adams and husband, Jerry, of Anderson, Missouri; a brother in-law, Dallas Wilson also of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2015, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Bro. Fred Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Peace Valley Cemetery. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are David Christerson, Paul Christerson, Cameron Wilson, Justin Wilson, Jake Wilson and Jesse Wilson. The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorials are being directed to the Patterson Heights Baptist Church or the Special Olympics and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
