Wanda Barton, 64, Monett, died August 26, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield following a car accident. She was born January 26, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Gaylard and Frances (Kresyman) Garrison. Wanda had worked as a CNA at KU Medical Center and was a private caregiver for many people throughout her life. She was a member of Freedom Christian Center in Aurora and the Red Hat Society. Wanda married Richard Barton and he preceded her in death. She is survived by two children, Tony L. Nichols of Purdy and Tamara Gaines of Aurora; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Steven Garrison and wife, Terrie of Kansas City, Kansas and Glenn Garrison of Neosho; and three nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Wanda is preceded in death by her parents.
